Jared is an outstanding young man and we had a beautiful day for his shoot.  I’ll only post a few of my favorites but you can check out his album on my facebook page for a larger selection.

Family Reunion – Lake Latonka

I once read that when you look at your life, the greatest happinesses are family happinesses.  To me, this couldn’t speak more truth.  Plain and simple, I am 100% family oriented.  My greatest joys and memories are hands-down spent with my family.  I am literally swelling with emotion just sitting here typing this, thinking of all those wonderful individuals that I am blessed and privileged to call family.  I have long measured passing time by when I will be able to visit next with these people I care for and love so deeply.

One of the most beautiful weeks of my life was this past August when we all gathered at our cabin at Lake Latonka.  I don’t think it gets better than that.  We are all incredibly grateful to our Grandparents and Parents who made this special place a reality, thank you from the bottom of my heart, it is the most perfect spot for us and will be well used and loved!

Waves of emotion kept knocking me over when reminiscing and laughing until tears sprang from my eyes with my siblings.  I love these people so so so much!  Deeper and stronger than I know how to properly express.  The thoughtful conversations and interactions with those I love most are precious times that I keep safely stored in my heart.  I can’t explain what it felt like to witness my niece and nephew interacting together, knowing that these moments will be treasured when they reflect on their childhood.  It is remarkable to be here, to be a part of their lives.  Being an aunt gives me an overwhelming sense of joy and pride.  I love these little people so much it aches.

I have opened my heart for a new love as well.  As my fiancé and I prepare for marriage, it is an immense blessing to have this network of people surrounding us, supporting us, loving on us.  Thank you.  And thank you MG for making the effort to come join your new family during this special week, it meant a great deal to all of us that you were able to do that.

As the Italians say, famiglia è la vita.  Family is life.

100% handsome boy

I love her killer blue eyes.

One good looking Grammy!!!

Such a handsome fiancé!  Notice the similarities in the smiles?

Where’s Grandpa’s mustache?

Where’s K’s ear?

These smiles absolutely melt my heart.

One of the new traditions:

“I carry your heart, I carry it in my heart.”
